Support for a local running event in Opava
This year, for the first time, RKL Opava sponsored the 14th edition of the Witzenmann Opava Mile race, which brought a record number of runners of all ages to the centre of Opava.

At RKL Opava, we are fully aware of our responsibility towards the environment and future generations. At a time when sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint are priorities across all sectors, logistics is no exception. The installation of solar panels on our lorries represents an important step towards greener and more efficient logistics.
The integration of solar panels enables our vehicles to generate their own electricity directly from the sun. Whilst this clean energy does not power the truck itself, it effectively supplies its on-board systems.
The system ensures driver comfort by providing air conditioning and heating for the cab without the engine running. At the same time, it provides a reliable power supply for electronics, lighting and telematics systems.
The future of transport lies in sustainability and innovation. The solution involving photovoltaic panels for lorries is not just about introducing new technology. Above all, it is an investment in cleaner air, in reducing environmental impact and in more efficient operations for our partners.
