RKL Opava celebrates its 30th anniversary – a cause for pride, reflection and gratitude

RKL Opava celebrated a significant anniversary: 30 years since its foundation. The celebratory gathering took place in the intimate setting of the Opava Theatre and was dedicated to employees, their families, business partners and friends from companies within the RKL Holding group.

The evening began with a commemorative speech by the founders, who recalled the humble beginnings in the waiting room of a driving school on Komárovská Street, the first logo on a yellow Liaz truck, and the company’s gradual growth from a partnership to today’s stable enterprise with operations in Suché Lazce, Komárov, Hranice and a sales office in Germany.

During the evening, words of thanks were expressed not only to the employees but also to their families, former colleagues, retirees, the company’s first employees and business partners who had been instrumental in the company’s development. Among those honoured were long-serving dispatchers, colleagues from the customs department and drivers.

The celebration culminated in a theatrical performance with a poignant message: being wealthy does not automatically mean being wise – an idea that remains relevant even after thirty years in business.
